Barabar caves is oldes. Cave in India of pr. Ashoka time the great king of India around 221 BC . The interior of cave is shinny polished and so much the architecture amazed technology of ancient Indians. Nearby cave is museum and one of oldest well of India still functional. Nearby Shiva temple on mountain and Barabar village too. There is Goverment guest house and police station at Barabar caves so more safety for tourist who is coming from outside. The mode of transport is either Own booked vehicle or auto you can get on share basis they charge 30 Rupees.. While coming from Patna or Gaya by railways just come by local train and leave at barabar halt railway station from there you can get auto at Railway station.. If you are coming by Road from Patna or Gaya city just drop at makhdumpur from there also you get auto. The fair charges of local train is maximum 20 Rupees from either Patna or Gaya railway station.
